Why does my dog squeal bark?

Lol my dog is already a lil strange, He's a 75ib blue pit that cleans his face and paws like a cat. Anyway, he does this squeal bark at his son (usually while playing) but he looks at me while he does it. Then when I look at him he wags his tail and comes to sit and stare at me. Lol I'm not worried since both him and his son are looney but what does this mean?
