Anyone unemployed and have to attend mandatory meetings?

So far I had to go to 2 meetings and I have another one in August. I have to keep a log of jobs that I apply for and then bring in the list to the next meeting in August to show proof I'm seeking work. What if you don't bring it in or what if you don't complete the list and what happens to that list of jobs you've contacted? Does unemployment verify that you've contacted these jobs?
