How much would I pay as an international student?

At University of Washington specifically, you'd pay around 40,000$ per academic year. This assumes that you'll be living in a dorm, which is the norm, particularly during the first year when most schools require you to live on campus. Like most schools, UW offers little to no financial assistance for international students. The price of tuition will vary by school, and you can look up the prices on the individual school's website. Generally, you can expect to pay 30-50,000$ per year. Student loans are generally tricky to handle, as you can't take out a loan in the US if you're not a US citizen. Also, as a part of your student visa, you have to demonstrate you or your family's ability to fund your education. Under that same student visa, you will likely not be able to work while you're in school.
