Sending a letter of recommendation online or in person?

Hi, i'm applying for an internship position. My college has a website where I can look for internships and upload my cover letter and resume. It also has an option to upload other documents. Should i upload letters of recommendation and my transcript or should i wait until they contact me and ask for it? thank you
